My best gift was a CD of Handel's MESSIAH, which I'd been wanting.  I just
had it on cassette, and now that CD's are the big thing around our house, I
figured it was time to update MESSIAH.  I also got my annual pair of
slippers.  I can't think of any really bad gifts I've ever gotten.

Paul, I think you should keep that cookie jar.  Your friends have the real
dog, who needs more intention that what you could give;  so it's only fair
that you get the cookie jar doggie.
