Carol,
In thinking about this, I do believe we'll have some surprises. Only God
knows the heart of man/woman. We can look at what the outward expression,
but the final has to come from God. So on the difficult side of that, there
might be those we expect to see and don't as well as those we don't expect
to see and do.
I think how merciful God was to me when I was walking far away from him,
knowing better and still walking the other direction. I often wonder if I
had died, if I'd been with the Lord. So he brought me back to himself, the
long way, but I returned like the prodigal. It's much better if we can pray
mercy and grace in the lives of people rather than judgement.
Would be interested for others comments too.
