Precisely why a little eccentric behaviour often works wonders in modifying
your kids errant ways. Case in point:-

I suggested we (as a family) all go out together one Saturday night, middle
daughter objects saying she planned going "clubbing" on that evening, I say
"Great, me and your Mum haven't been clubbing for ages". Result - we all go
out for  a quiet meal at the pub.

She knew I would have gone clubbing, benefit of having zilch inhibitions!!!

Living in a yuppy area, David would not want to get Black-balled at the
Country Club!!! ;-)
