Last (and only) one I carried was the Penpal's father in 1976, may he rest in peace. As I remember, there were 6 of us, and it didn't seem terribly heavy. Assuming he weighed about 175, I would think the standard issue Hebraic Plain Pine Box (not made by monks) wouldn't weigh more than 75 lbs at the absolute most.
