I do like the story. I miss those days sometimes. My little girls now
seem to think I'm somewhat senile, but harmless. Their significant
others seem to retain a trace of concern for their safety when I'm
around. But I don't get direct challenges from any of them.
Now my darling son is another matter.
I hope it’s a cycle. He wants to be a hippie, or a beat poet. The
past is so damned romantic once its sanitized. And our lives are so
fragile.
