Plane Crash Kills Kenyan Labor Minister By Associated Press January 24, 2003, 11:05 AM EST NAIROBI, Kenya -- A plane carrying members of Kenya's new government crashed on Friday, killing one minister, two pilots and injuring at least three other members of the government, an official and a television network said. Kenya Television Network said Labor Minister Ahmad Mohamed Khalif was killed in the accident. The 24-seat Gulfstream aircraft hit power lines and crashed shortly after takeoff from Busia airport in the west of the country, said Local Government Minister Karisa Maitha.
