Hello List,
Yesterday my Windows XP home edition computer automatically downloaded and I
installed the service Pack 2. Since then I am experiencing a difference
with reading my e-mail in Outlook Express 6.
Before service pack 2, all I had to do when reading a message was press
enter on the message and my JAWS 5.01 would automatically read it and then I
could press the delete key to delete it if I wanted to and it would go on to
read the next message. After service pack 2, now when I press enter on a
message to open it, JAWS just reads the subject line. I now need to press
tab once to where it says read only and then I need to press the read all
command to read the message. To delete the message I need to press the
escape key, then delete it and to read the next message I need to go through
the whole thing again. Since I belong to a lot of lists this process is
most annoying and time consuming. Is this what is supposed to happen with
service Pack 2 or can I do something to fix it like removing service pack 2?
I have written to Freedom Scientific tech support but haven't received any
response yet, Thanks for any suggestions, Judy
