Hi Lisa. I was the one who wrote the set files for icq and window-eyes
which come with window-eyes. The reason control-shift-a is getting
intercepted by icq is because that is one of the default hotkeys of icq for
activating the icq window. I usually go and change that to control-shift-i
as I feel that is more appropriate and it also does not conflict with
window-eyes. I have not used icq lite so cannot comment on how easy it is to
use. I would recommend you read the readme that I wrote for icq sets from
window-eyes control panel press alt-f to bring down the file menu then f for
set files. now press i until youhear icq and then tab to the rich edit box
which displays the read me. In there you will see how to access icq and
change the hotkeys. I'm assuming the mode to do this is similar to icq2000
which is the version I used back in 2000 when I made these set files. I have
not updated the sets since there was not enough interest due to more and
more people using aim and msn.

Speaking of aim and msn there is a program which works with aim, msn, yahoo
and icq and no, I'm not talking about trillion. If you are interested I can
get you info on that. This program is called easymessage and although it's
not the most speech friendly, it's certainly more so than icq.

Cheers and best regards. feel free to contact me if you have further
questions.
