You can do this, but you need to be careful of the interrupts and I/O
addresses that will be used. Most software requires a modem to act as a
serial port 1-4, but there are only two interrupts that are normally used
with these ports. Thus you can usually have no more than two modems (there
are exceptions). You might also end up disabling your com ports to do this.
Normally this is not a problem since com ports are rarely used any more for
anything but modems anyway.
