Potential source for the quote:

"Half of Louisiana is under water, and half of Louisiana is under
indictment"

Former U.S. Congressman Billy Tauzin (R-La)

I can't find the quote in context, so I can't prove unequivocally that
Tauzin is the correct source.

Or, as Will Rogers said:

I'm not a member of any organized political party, I'm a Democrat!
- Will Rogers

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.

-George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950
