These few hints/tips may be helpful when cooking rice pasta, no
matter what brand you prefer.
Bring LOTS of water to a boil. Salt water if desired. Do not
add oil to water. Oil will cause the pasta to become soggy.
After water comes to a full rolling boil, add pasta. Set a timer
for the least amount of time that the brand of pasta calls for on
the package label. Start timing from the minute pasta is placed
in the boiling water. Do not wait for water to come back up to
the boil.
When timer goes off. Drain pasta in a large colander and rinse
with hot water only. Drain well and serve.
Small shaped pasta tends to cook very quickly. It is suggested
that it be taste tested 1 minute prior to timer setting going off.
Keep a record of the amount of minutes to cook for your favorite
pasta shapes.
Feel this way of cooking pasta will allow each brand to be served/
eaten to it's best taste.
