This is a summary concerning GF thyroid glandulars.

One person said that thyroid glandulars made by Standard PRocess
Thryotropin are GF but you need a prescription. They can be obtained
through a chiropractor or licensed nutritionists. This is the brand that my
friend found to be very helpful before she went GF. She thinks there must
be a problem with contamination because she reacts negatively to them now.

Another person suggested Synthroid. Now that she is GF her thyroid is
working differently and therefore her doctor has taken her off Synthroid.

One person suggested Thyroid glandular by Nutri-Meds. According to them
their products "do not contain any starch, salt, wheat, corn, yeast, milk
or soy derivatives and they are not processed with products that do contain
these ingredients." I have been unable to find out about barley, rye, or
oats in their product.

Another person suggested the web site: www.glutenfreedrugs.com
<http://www.glutenfreedrugs.com>
I agree that this is a wonderful site for drugs, however I couldn't find
thyroid glandulars. Perhaps it is because it would be considered
alternative medicine, or perhaps it is closer to a vitamin, or perhaps I
just didn't know where to look.
