At the Celiac Disease Foundation Annual Educational Conference and Food Faire, in Los Angeles, we will be doing a Genetic Study as noted in the program. We are looking for families that have two or more relatives diagnosed with Celiac Disease or Dermatitis Herpetiformis to identify factors associated with the development of CD. The goal of the study is to find genes that may predispose individuals and their relatives to develop the condition.

The study needs families where at least 2 individuals in the same family, with the exception of simple parent-child pairs have been diagnosed (preferably biopsy proven) with CD/DH. It is not necessary to call the University of Irvine. Come to the Nov 2nd conference to be tested. If you have questions, please call CDF at (818) 990-2354.
