Hi All,

I have posted this question before but I still don't have a resolution to
it. I get the Out of Scan Range message ONLY when trying to use a CD in
the CD drive. It is especially troublesome while trying to install any
programs. I have tried changing the resolution and refresh rate on the
monitor and that doesn't help. I am running Win98 on a home built
computer (I didn't build it) but am still using my old Gateway Vivitron
17 monitor on it. The video card is a Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro. I have
spent a lot of money for Turbo Tax to do my taxes but I can't install it!
I searched for a new driver for my monitor but can't find one and have
also tried reinstalling my video card driver. Any other ideas out there?
Would just buying a new monitor fix this problem?
