I found out the problem I opened the case on the external drive and found a
40 gig Fujitsi I was told the drive was 20 gig.  I removed it tested it and
found it was good so I put a 9 gig in the case plugged it in and it
worked.  I guess the drive was to large for the buslink board or the driver
to recognize.  Its working fine now with the 9 gig in it.   Thanks to all
that replied.
