I went to ICM School of Business in 1986 and had a C average and this was
hard because this was before ADA and I had to try to do things twice as good as
everyone else. I dealt with computers before Windows was invented. How many
places you know now that deal with COBOL 74, RPG III, Assembler and
DisplayWrite 3 or use a Sperry-Univac mainframe? Those were long and drawn out because
you had to write out the programs before typing into the terminal. I did all
the work in my head but I still had to do all of the paperwork. That took
hours to work on documentation sheets and be neat about it. The instructors gave
me a little extra time because they knew I can do the work but preparing the
folders was the hardest part for me.
