Is anyone on this list aware of any company that produces web browsing
software which can be controlled by the telephone either through voice
prompts or touch tone keypad input? I know of the "voice portals" but as
far as I know, all of these use database aps and/or web text harvesting to
function. I am after something which actually can follow a link to a real
live web page and then render it using TTS software. There used to be a
product called PW Telephone which could do this, but the company went out
of business, and I personally know of no other company experimenting with this.

I plan to use this information to provide telephone based web access to
visually impaired people who do not own, cannot use, or aren't near an
adapted computer. My organization, Sun Sounds of Arizona, already does
this using PW Telephone, but the capabilities of the software are falling
behind as the web evolves and I will need to introduce a newer solution.

Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Bill
