Zoe, I can't find the reference in Ray's book right now but I believe he
soaks bacon in cold water overnight...I could be wrong...but I believe
that's where I learned this trick...

Ray...are you the source of this tip???

Subject: Re: question from a newbie

I don't have a cholesterol problem so that's not it, I was just
trying to get the right idea for this eating plan. I do like eggs a
lot.

Audette's book "Neanderthin" - is it in the bookstores? If I have to
get it on the web, I can't as I don't have any credit cards.

What is uncure your bacon? I know you said buy the book & find out
and hopefully I will - but if it takes a lot of time I can't do it,
I'm a law student. In fact that's one of my worries about this eating
plan, is that it will be very time-consuming in terms of food
preparation.

thanks for your thoughts

Zoe
