It seems an invariable rule on this list to pretend that intestinal
bacteria do not exist, or that they have no function.
AFAIK it is proven that they make vitamins and maybe other essential
nutrients.
The experience of those who have eaten only meat for a year, and mostly
meat for a lifetime, or many lifetimes and remained in good health shows
that they are getting the needed vitamins from somewhere.
If it is not in the food, it must be from the microbes.
