Hello
As the Tobaski is getting closer, we have been working here at Cham
Travel to get our fellow gambian and Senegalese citizens a cheaper way to
get home with their families. The Tobaski is on Monday, February 02,
2004.
Currently, we have a group special from Baltimore to Banjul direct on
Ghana Airways. The fare for all adults is $981.00 (2 to 4 weeks stay), Children (ages 2 to 11) is $756.00 and infants (ages 2 and under) is $160.50
Departure Date for all groups is Monday, January 26, 2004.
Group 1 is travelling for 2 weeks-----return date is February 09, 2004
Group 2 is travelling for 3 weeks-----return date is February 16, 2004
Group 3 is travelling for 4 weeks-----return date is February 23, 2004
All other people travelling for 5 to 6 weeks will pay $1070.00 taxes
included. For more than 6 weeks, please call us and we will still get you
a low fare.
A non refundable $100 deposit is required to hold a seat for anyone
joining the Baltimore-Banjul group. This deposit is due by November 31.
Final payment will be due by December 20, 2003.
Payments for any member of the group will be accepted in money order,
cashiers check or a deposit at one of the Wachovia Banks or First Union
Banks in your area. All deposits need to be called in to us with the
deposit numbers for confirmation. All checks and money orders need to be
made to Cham Travel Solutions and mailed to:
PO Box 723794
Atlanta, GA 31139
If you want to travel South African Airways ( New York to Dakar) during
the Tobaski Holiday, the fare is $1115 all taxes included for 1 to 8
weeks stay).
If you would like to go through London then to Banjul, here are the
current fares from London Gatwick to Banjul. These fares below does not
include your fare from your respective cities to London. Those fares will
differ according to what city you are travelling from to London.
For 2 weeks stay-----355 pounds ---equivalent to $592.00
For 3 weeks stay-----390 pounds----equivalent to $650.00
For 4 weeks stay-----450 pounds----equivalent to $750.00
These fares from London Gatwick and the exchange rates are subject to
change on a daily basis. Flight dates are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from
Gatwick. As the flights get closer to filling up---I will advise you
that the fares will increase.
I would like to advise all those that would like to travel through
London to understand the following:
There is a 15 UK pounds per kilo fee for any excess luggage. You are
allowed only 2 suitcases of 20 kilos each which is a lot less than what
you are allowed by airlines from the US.
Also, if you are travelling with a green card, you will need a visa for
London, since you will need to spend a night in London on your
departure or return or may be both.
And Finally, this is a good route only if you are travelling with a
piece or two light luggages.
I hope that I have given you all the information you need to get ready
for your Tobaski holiday. If you have any more questions or want to
join the Baltimore Banjul Group or just make a reservation with one of the
choices we've provided above, please give us a call at (678) 794-0639
or email us at [log in to unmask] . You may print this email
to keep as a reference or pass it out to your friends and family.
Thank you for your support, and we hope to hear from each and everyone
of you shortly.
Sincerely
Gibby Cham
