NDAM's strong man Lamin Waa Juwara alias Mbarodi has been set free by the
high court. He was granted bail yesterday, but the state expressed
apprehension that Mbarodi may continue with his anti Jammeh sentiments if
granted bail. But the presiding judge who is a Nigerian national ruled
infavour of Lawyer Borry Touray, Waa's attorney. The court held that the
offence in question is bailable and ordered for the Niamina Dankunku Lion to
be released on bail. Waa has since reunited with his family.
Meanwhile, the sedition charge against Juwara is pending.
