Ken,

I'm sorry that your family is going through this. My mom was the
patient care coordinator at the hospice in the town where I grew up for
fifteen years, and met some beautiful people in her job, even though
they were in the depths of illness at the time. Our prayers and
thoughts are with you and your family.

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Ken. But I'm glad she's being taken care of
by
Hospice; both of my parents were Hospice patients and I can tell you the
care was wonderful. I do believe their deaths were much easier than if
they'd been at hospital.

You and your family are in my thoughts.

Kat
