The 480 gives much more information than the 570.  Between the spoken
information, the beeps which are single double, high and low also add to the
information.  Levels, such as output, processor, RF gain, Mic gain, along
with other information are also spoken.

There is a device which enables one to attach the front panel to the main
unit; however, it does not fit closely to the unit. because the input to the
Mic is on the front of the  main unit.  Also the umbilical cord which
attaches the control panel is on the front.

My understanding is that device is available in the U.S.
