I had a butternut up back in Kansas.  It really kicked but.  Of course, it
hdlped a lot that I had it on top of a metal rooff 24 by 80.  It really
did work though and often was almost if not as good as my dipole up 80
feet.  Mechanically, they are not so great.  Coils and traps are quite
large, but I did really like the antenna.
