Hi Buddy.
I don't have a store like that locally. I was hoping to find what it used
for batteries so I could mail order them. Anyway, this was the external
synthesizer that Telesensory sold with their Screen Power software for DOS,
and if you run it with Vocal-Eyes, all you have to do is tell Vocal-Eyes to
use the Keynote SA driver, and it works. It sounds just like a
Keynote. The only difference is that when you turn it on, it comes up and
says "Welcome to Telesensory Speech" and it says Telesensory on the
case. Otherwise, as near as I can tell, it's a Keynote SA.
Anyway, I like it in the ham shack because, unlike some other synthesizers,
it doesn't raise a ruckus with the radios. Changing synthesizers is an
option if I can't get this synthesizer going--I still have one free ISA
slot in the machine.
Anyway, I was just hoping that someone more adventurous than I had already
done a battery job on one of these and could tell me what was inside for
batteries.
