A genuine been there, done that situation.

The particular mobo _my_ son had was the A8V, and it showed the same
symptoms. It turned out that the A8V requires the system speakers to be
attached when booting up, as, instead of beeping its error messages, it
wants to speak them. Hooking up the speakers was all it took to get the
thing booted.

Maybe the A7V works the same way.
