I want to run an application that uses a modem dial-up line - it will not
use the internet.
I want to run this application on my stationary PC - which does not have a
modem!

However, my laptop has a built-in modem!
Can I use the modem of the laptop, from my stationary PC, via the LAN!?

I have a small TCP/IP LAN with a broadband router/switch.
The stationary PC runs Windows 2000.
The laptop runs Windows XP Home.

I would prefer to use software built-in into Windows, or freeware.

Any suggestions are welcome,
/Göran Halfvarson, Sweden
