I checked on this at work today and our tech folks said that this virus opens its victim's address book, then sends itself out as if it is coming from each address in the infected system. So, anybody who is a member of a listserv and has that listserv's address in their address book would cause an e-mail to go out as if from the listserv. Of course, when the recipient replies, the reply does hit the listserv and goes out to all participants. Based on the volume I saw at work today, this thing must be using up some significant resources.
