Hi everyone.

Thank you so much to those who replied. I was encouraged to read up
and some of you sent me links. The most interesting thing was that
at least 20 of you wrote to tell me that your symptoms were the same
as my daughter. Many of those said they were tested for DH, it came
back negative and their doctors did not know what to do. That is
very sad. My daughters biopsies were negative for DH, suspicious for
Bullous Pemphigoid. Today we got the second set of biopsy results which
confirmed Bullous Pemphigoid. Our doctor sent the original biopsy slides
to a different lab for confirmation. We are lucky to have a great
dermatologist now. BP is an autoimmune disorder, so no surprise that
she is more inclined for this being Celiac. Right now her treatment
is two prescription ointments. If it worses, which right now it isn't,
the next step would be oral steroids.

If you are interested in the ointments that are working for her, again,
they are prescription, just e-mail me and i'll e-mail you the name of
them.

Thanks again to everyone who replied
Betsy
