Thank you group, for all the prompt and caring responses.  Most everyone
agreed that the nutritional supplements were a likely cause of the diarrhea,
but several people also pointed out it could be an unrelated problem like a
virus or appendicitis.  Almost all were quite concerened that there was no
official diagnosis and felt the child should see a gi doctor, or at the very
least an MD.  One person told me a child that young shouldn't even be on
supplements - unable to tolerate them.  I saw the mom today and passed along
your comments to her.  Lynn
