Hi! I have some concerns about Kosher for
Passover products labeled as non-gebrokts. I had
assumed these products were relatively safe as
far as gluten-free is concerned based on various
information I've read. However, today I realized
two brands that have some items labeled as
non-gebrokts and yet others say non-gebrokts AND
gluten free. I realize that these products in
question might be gluten free, despite the fact
that the packages are not labeled as such. I
intend on trying to reach the manufacturers to
question this issue. Has anyone else come across
this?
Also, the items that are labeled gluten-free and
that I've tried and are pretty good are "Liebers"
cookies and "Frankels Homestyle Products" Pizza
for Pesach. Not for Passover, but I tried the
Kosher "S' Betters Farms" Chicken Fingers
(Teriyaki Chicken Breast Strips Battered and
Fried) and was extremely pleased.
