Hi Everyone,
Among the number of tests that we have finally convinced a Dr to perform
for my daughter, one of the suggestions from them was that my daughter
may have a casein and whey intolerance. This is also frustrating, as
some of my daughters favourite foods are yogurt & granola, pancakes,
sour cream ( and dips) cheese, etc..my understanding is that their are a
number of foods that contain these proteins also. We have decided that
the best thing to do @ the moment is to remove dairy from her diet for
eight weeks. I have read a number of posting from other listmates that
have this intolerance and wondered if anyone had any suggestions of food
supplements, any products that taste similar to dairy ( my daughter is
quite fussy about the foods she eats) and/or products to be catious
of...since I know that this can become pretty tedious.
Thanks a bunch,
I hope this finds everyone well :-)
Melissa ( mother of Jeneah-possible Celiac)
