burner. The firmware in the burner determines what media it will accept.You
might go to Pioneer's site and check their recommended media list or go to
cdfreaks.com and check out the forum

Interesting, the disk (DVD-RW Verbatim) that won't write is the one that was
packed with the burner:^))  I'll check out the cdfreaks.
