Hello listers,
Yesterday, I reinstalled Text-to-Audio on my new PC. I had had little success with it so far, and I have never succeeded to get answers from the technical support at Reading Made Easy. So, I shallask my peers:
It seems to work better now that I have a Pentium 4 and Win XP. However, when I converted text to MP3, using an AT&T 16 bits voice, I was again disappointed by the recording quality of the result. I can't compare it to so many other text-to-speech programs, but compared to Total Recorder recording of a voice reading a text in a word processor, for instance, it is much worse! Is that normal? Which format gives the best quality to space ratio? I used Mp3 in stereo, with 44,1 kHz.
I can't really explain what is bad in the recording, it is as if the voice is a bit in the background, and not as clear as when it talks directly from my PC as Jaws does. I think I have version 6 of text-to-audio.
Thank you very much in advance for any advice, have a nice afternoon,

Best regards
