Well, unless I'm asleep to what's going on on my machine, all I can say
is that since I upgraded to sp2 on my xp Pro laptop, things have only
improved. I am bothered by far fewer pests and haven't noticed any
problems at all.
Perhaps, when things are going well, there's not much to write about,
but when folks need help with problems they're having after an upgrade,
those items get attention.
Regards,
Js

Subject: About SP2 and XP
Hello all
I still have not taken the plunge and upgraded from WIN/98 Se to XP.
Using Jaws 5.1 and listening to all the problems that people seem to be
having with XP and this SP2 thing makes me wonder if I want to change.
It seems that the problems vary and the Service Pac 2 is the culprit.
Does one have to get this SP2 if one goes to XP? Including myself, many
of us have little computer aliens that make our days interesting, so I
am wondering if it is worthwhile to "change or not to change" Appreciate
any thoughts. Thanks, Morey,
