Hello all:
I'm wondering if anyone has had experience obtaining a battery
replacement for an Optacon model R1D. The unit works fine except for the
battery which needs replacement. Is anyone doing Optacon repairs these
days? I have also heard that companies like Battery Plus in Minnesota
have had experience with replacement of Braille 'n speak batteries, but
I don't know if they have tackled the Optacon.
