Another question is where do you go to find out whether you have XP pro,
or XP Home. Can some one tell me that? I am getting frustrated with t
his.

I am having a problem with my JAWS. First of all, my Desktop is always
on top, and I cannot get it to not show up until I hit the focus keys,
windows M. Also, JAWS will not come on to my task bar. How do I fix
this problem?

Becky, this isn't all that unusual for JAWS to give problems after video
drivers are change or even other system upgrades. What's critical is
that the very first thing you need to do after upgrading existing or
changing to a new driver / video card, is to uninstall JAWS and then
reinstall JAWS. Even though you did eventually do this, it sounds like
you may have done a lot of changes to your system before trying the
uninstall and reinstall.
The good news if you are running Windows XP Pro, not XP Home, You can
restore your system back to a prior date before you made any of the
changes.=20 First go to control panel, --> arrow down to System, hit
enter and do control-tab until you get to system restore. Check to see
if you have system restore checked. Get some one to help you with the
restore process after this point.=20 I hope this is some what helpful.

If nothing works, I guess, you will have to re-install windows. unless,
of course, you have any backup>
