Hi to all. RAIN (Radio and Internet Newsletter) is reporting that Acacia
Research, which claims it has patents on all aspects of streaming, has sent
out letters to colleges and universities demanding 2% of all fees paid by
students taking courses using online audio and video. The company has been
in a battle with adult sites for the past year and is now taking on colleges
who are scrambling to react. For more information, visit RAIN's web site at
http://www.kurthanson.com.
That's it for now. To all, take care.
