Diana. You need an internet account to access the net for any reason. If
you use the net as seldom as you say then I would do a search for a free
isp service. NetZero used to be free but I think they charge now. AOL
and other online services have price plans where you pay by the hours
that you are on or a flat fee for 5 hours a month. These are usually
around $5.00 monthly but you have to use their email server unless you
have a web based email account with someone.
