I am running Windows 98SE with Norton Security. Every time I boot the
computer, it boots past the desktop and gives me the message:
This program has performed an illegal operation
and gives me an opportunity to close the program. Unfortunately, if I'm
not quick on the draw in closing it, I get a screen with a bunch of
graphics and numbers like "graphic 453" throughout the entire screen. Using
my Jaws cursor doesn't tell me a darn thing about what the screen is. I
looked in my faultlog.txt file and discovered that the Ndetect program is
giving me the illegal operation message. I'm looking for suggestions here
before I call Symantec Tech support and get charged $29.95 an incident! I
sure someone can help!
