You cannot run both firewalls without problems. I would try the XP install
again, hoping you could then turn off the Windows "one-way" firewall. Then,
with the Windows thing out of the way, totally reinstall the NetDefense
firewall. Might have to totally ininstall the NetDefense application,
Including deleting its folder, and reinstall after the windows installation
and turning off the Windows firewall. It worked for me.

Subject: [PCBUILD] XP Firewall
This is a new install XP PRO with SP2.
After installing I tried to shut off XP's firewall and got this message:
"Due to an unidentifed problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall
Settings." This was before I installed NetDefense Firewall, which has worked
very well in XP. Both Firewalls have been running for a few days without any
known problems. How can I shut off XP Firewall? Will the 2 continue to run
at the same time without problems?
Any views on this would be helpful.
Jim
