Wjen you formatted the HD, youerased everything,
including all drivers. This means that Win98 doesn't
have the drivers for your video card. You need to get
the drivers from whatever company that your video
card's chipset is from (ATI, or nVidia). They will
have the latest drivers for you to download and
install. This should fix the problem completely. If
not, let me know what else is going on.
