I've used herbs and spices as medicines (alongside orthodox
pharmaceuticals) all my life, so I've found the cinnamon discussion
fascinating and informative.

However, as antioxidants can act as pro-oxidants at high levels, it's
probably safest to avoid taking megadoses.

In one of my old herbals, it mentions Pasteur's 'recent discovery' of the
powerful antiseptic qualities of cinnamon, but also cautions against
taking too much as it can cause internal haemorrhages if consumed in
excess.

Just a thought.
