I can't find it now but I thought I read somewhere that since alcohol
and vinegar are products of the technology of fermentation, not likely
used by paleolithic hunter-gatherers, they are not paleofood.

Also, alcohol may make the gut more permeable and allow some harmful
proteins to pass into the blood.
