The first presidential election I was eligible to vote in, I voted for
Paul Simon as a protest against Reagan. That one didn't make that much
difference, because Reagan beat Dukakis by a wide margin. Tell Amber I
feel her pain... My birthday is two weeks after the elections, so I
remember not being able to vote in the 1980 elections, and being
disappointed. I was just into my first semester in college as a
political science major, too.

Hi Kendall,
I was thinking the frog - but I know that registering your
protest that way only does harm. It one of those you have to reallythink
about the consequences - and the consquences from the last election have
been kicking our butt - and taking lives ever since. I wish we had more
than a 2 party system but the 2 parties aren't going to allow that.
Amber is sssoooo mad her 18th birthday is 3 days after the election.

Trisha,
Kermit or Ralph Nader? The end result would be the same; a vote
for an
unelectable candidate that would take a vote away from Kerry.
Had it
not been for Nader four years ago, this thread would not exist.

Hi Mike,
Frankly, I am all for Kermit the Frog - the problem is that
takes
away votes from Kerry and we will end up with another 4 years of
being a
laughing stock of the world and screwing our economy up to the
point we
will end up a third world country.=20

I'm going to right in someone's name, as a protest vote. I
mean, 247
million citizens, and these are the best 2 we can come up with?
