Feel free to call me whatever you want. It has been
over 40 years since I have heard the term "suffering
with" cerebral palsy used by consumers or anybody
close. I am ordinarily unconcerned with politically
correct language, but "suffering with" ranks right up
there with "afflicted with" and "a cripple" as
language that marks an outsider - or worse.
If your daughter is actually a CP, for her sake I urge
you to purge those words from your vocabulary & from
your mind.
