The following took place in my garden today
Heavy traffic
Powder puff clouds blow lazy above the cattails and giant blue iris;
Dragonflies hover and dart over green grass and pools of mirrored sunlight
by the waters edge.
It is a day for nothing
Oh ;I threw a line in ; but thats about all
just to prove I was actually doing something in case anybody asks ;but nobody
will .
You could sit here all day every day and without any clothes on if need be
an no one would come by, no one would ask .
I position my iron branch chair by my pole.
I do this scientifically so as to catch sun and pole all at the same time .
This takes years of practice of course and as I plan to write a book about
it sometime; ( Fishing for sun) I might as well perfect it .
The only traffic I see are the frogs that jump the buddah like star lillys
and the wablers and song birds that serenade from Carolina jasmine and the
purple wisteria.
A pair of dark monarchs fly by perfect tandem darting over splashes of rock
and reed
and a large turtle ambles off his rock toting a branch..
no ......wait a minuet..... it not a branch..... its a Bird..
.a magpie rides off standing on the turtles back .Turtle with neck out and
magpie happily pecking away . They continued on like this in happy abandon
as if to say Spring is finally here
talk about economy travel. ....
