I agree that we have to make effort to use whatever software our employer provides and what our colleagues use, but I think it is also important to consider the amount of help or tutorials we can get for a specific program.
I'm still straggling to be performant with Supernova and Maximizer which I must use at work and I find little help or information on how to perform certain tasks.
