Hi

Because power requirements for the 2 different sized hard drives are in
fact different, I do not think you will find a reliable 3.5" box that
does not need an external power source.

Thanks and have a Great Day!

===================

Hello

I'm looking at several cases for USB external HDD's. Nearly all the 2.5
cases do not require an independent power supply ... that's great.

What I want is a 3.5 external USB (1 and 2) case that does not require
any power supply ... it powers from the USB like the smaller versions.

Does such a thing exist? ... if so where could I purchase it please?

TIA ... Mick
