Andrew,
Perhaps you are not eating enough fat when you low-carb. I tried
eating nothing but meat and lettuce recently, and I managed for a whlie
but eventually found the meat unsatisfying. If I'm eating lean meat, I
either have a vegetable with it or a few pieces of fruit after (I keep
some dried fruit on hand now for this reason). This way, I feel a lot
more full- as long as I don't overdo the carbs and start fruit-binging.
Fatty meat is quite hard to come by- belly pork is my favourite but
I'd get sick of it day in day out. And duck is nice but very expensive
:( My only other suggestion is to eat some nuts with your meal.
Walnuts are high in fat, low in carbs and high in omega-3 fat too.
